How is the product produced?
I ordered from them initially after seeing Good Ranchers advertised on daily wire. The delivery people just leave it outside without ringing or knocking to inform you. Not happy so far and have no plans to order from them again. The beef is aged for a minimum of 21 days and the chicken is 100% Cornish. The pork is Heritage Berkshire, which is some of the most desired pork in the whole of the US.
The cost may seem a lot at first glance, but the subscription service works out much cheaper than purchasing meat at the grocery store every time you need it. Subscription options range from one-off purchase boxes, four-week subscription boxes, six-week subscription boxes and eight-week subscription boxes. The first thing I noticed about the steaks were that they were smaller than I was used to finding. There’s a very practical reason for that though and it’s because the steaks are individually portioned around 4 – 6 oz., or the typically consumed amount per meal. I hadn’t really given it much thought before, but it turns out that on a daily basis, that kind of portioning is actually very helpful.

I had no issue tracking them down after I decided to try their products. I’m not a fan of pre-marinated meat, but I found Good Ranchers did a good job with the chicken. However, I was wrong as one steak is the size a person typically consumes per meal.
Plus they put the charge on my credit card the day my order was placed, not when shipped. I don’t know if that is common practice these days but did not make me happy. When you receive your subscription box, you will find that each selection of meat is self-contained in individual boxes with each cut vacuum packed in plastic packaging. Even though I’m the daughter of a rancher, I’m certainly no expert on the beef industry. I have seen some great boxes and from what I found the quality is very good. Since I have not bought a box yet we have to rely on what others say.
